The pediatric radiology section is dedicated to providing high quality diagnostic imaging services to our pediatric patients throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding regions. Our team is trained to interpret images and to perform procedures, utilizing multiple imaging modalities, in order to answer specific clinical questions. We work closely with several other subspecialty radiologists to provide high level diagnostic interpretations utilizing X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and PET/CT. We understand the special needs of our young patients, and we strive to obtain the highest quality images while also limiting radiation exposure as much as possible.
Our pediatric radiologists routinely meet with our referring pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists to review cases in order to provide the best care for our patients. In addition, we spend time teaching diagnostic imagine to medical students and residence affiliated with Lehigh Valley Health Network who are rotating through the radiology department.
